Summer Oceanographic Cruises: Explore the sea life in Long Island Sound and learn how to use a wide range of oceanographic equipment as part of our flagship environmental monitoring program aboard the R.V. Envirolab. Oceanographic Cruises run in July and August. Reservations are required.
Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the start of the cruise and check in with the front desk. Cruises depart promptly and we do not want to leave passengers ashore.

Like professional Marine Scientists, passengers aboard our EnviroLab research vessel should plan on cruising in mildly inclement weather and dress accordingly; however, we will not depart in the event of dangerous weather conditions and you should expect notification of weather cancellation no later than 7am the morning of your scheduled cruise. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL AND TEXT MESSAGE.
In the event that we must cancel the cruise, due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstance, we will notify you and make arrangements to reschedule your cruise. If you are unable to reschedule, you may request a refund.
