SEAL WATCH  CRUISES 2020

Shake off those winter blues with a trip to see the Harbor Seals in Fishers Island Sound. Come aboard the Enviro-Lab to visit these playful marine mammals in their natural winter habitat.

Cruises are scheduled around low tide on weekends throughout March and April.  Registration and Schedule should be available December 1st.

SUMMER OCEANOGRAPHIC CRUISES 2019

Explore the sea life in Long Island Sound and learn how to use a wide range of oceanographic equipment as part of our flagship environmental monitoring program aboard the R.V. Envirolab.  Oceanographic Cruises run in July and August.  Reservations are required.

Cruises take place on Tuesdays and 1 weekend day during July and August.  Registration and Schedule should be available by February 1st.

WEATHER POLICY

Like professional Marine Scientists, passengers aboard our EnviroLab research vessel should plan on cruising in mildly inclement weather and dress accordingly; however, we will not depart in the event of dangerous weather conditions and you should expect notification of weather cancellation no later than 7am the morning of your scheduled cruise. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL AND TEXT MESSAGE.

In the event that we must cancel the cruise, due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstance, we will notify you and make arrangements to reschedule your cruise. If you are unable to reschedule, you may request a refund.
