Mystery Water

We need your help!

Two Project O scientists collected water samples from the three different locations for an important study, but the labels on their water samples washed away.  We need you to help us figure out where each sample was collected. We know one sample was collected in the ocean, one was collected in the estuary and one was collected in the river.

Read their field observations about each environment below and then visit each of the 5 stations to help solve this mystery!

Print your own table to record your results here.

If you're unable to print, simply copy the table into your notebook.

Meet your two Project O scientists, Callie & Debbie and learn how you can help them!

Help solve the water mystery by visiting these five research stations.

Station 1: Clarity

Station 2: Color

Station 3: Salinity

Station 4: Dissolved Oxygen

Station 5: Temperature
