  • Time in the water to snorkel!

What to Bring:
  • Come in a bathing suit

  • Wear/bring water shoes

  • A dry towel

  • Dry shoes and clothing to change into

You’re welcome to bring a lunch or snack! There is plenty space to spread out and enjoy Bluff Point State Park. Remember, if you bring something to eat there are no garbage cans at the park, so it is “pack-in, pack-out”.

While there is no cost for this event we do ask that you register. There are only 10 spaces available per class.

If you’re planning on bringing the whole family, Project Oceanology staff will also lead a seining activity which is great for students of all ages. Participants can try using a net to catch nearshore fish.  We recommend wearing shorts and water shoes to wade into the water for this activity.  No registration is required to participate in seining.
