Summer Intern

Project Oceanology seeks in a seasonal Marine Science Education Intern a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic college student that enjoys science, the outdoors, and working with youth in an educational summer camp setting.  Interns should have knowledge of group behavior, societal trends and influences, and developmental needs of the adolescent population.  The Marine Science Intern will supervise summer campers, develop and teach marine science lessons under the instruction of Project Oceanology educators, and generally provide a safe, supportive and friendly learning environment.  

P/T Marine Science Educator

Project Oceanology seeks an innovative, experienced and dedicated educator to deliver inspiring marine science and environmental education programs for elementary through high school students, college students, summer camp participants, and the general public. The Marine Science Educator will contribute to the expansion of programs, the revision and integration of Project Oceanology’s activities into local school curricula, and the expansion of summer camps.

Resident Supervisor

Project Oceanology seeks a highly responsible Resident Supervisor to ensure the safety and comfort of guests attending overnight Project Oceanology programs during the school year and summer months. The Resident Supervisor will supervise students, implement and enforce standards, and provide a supportive, friendly, and safe environment for students and others utilizing the Project Oceanology hostel.
