Public 2017 Summer Oceanographic Cruises have begun!

Be a marine scientist for 2 1/2 hours! Our floating classroom, the Research Vessel Enviro-Lab, will bring you out on Long Island Sound for a unique experience. Immerse yourself in all of the elements of marine biology as you cruise our waters and conduct oceanographic studies. Work with our professional staff, using scientific instruments to test the waters for temperature, salinity, oxygen and more. Discover the rich diversity of life beneath the waves by bringing up marine animals with a trawl net and collecting plankton, the base of the marine food web, or by pulling aboard lobster pots.

SCHEDULE: Cruises run July (except July 4th) and August, Tuesdays 1pm - 3:30pm and Saturdays 10am - 12:30pm.

ON AVERAGE, PASSENGERS ABOARD OUR SEAL WATCH CRUISES SEE OVER 100 SEALS PER TRIP.

TO OPTIMIZE VIEWING, SEAL WATCH CRUISES ARE TIMED AROUND LOW TIDES.
