New London Ledge Lighthouse has stood guard at the mouth of Thames River since it was built in 1909. Come explore the rich heritage, romance and unique architecture of one of Connecticut's jewels. Participants will board the Enviro-lab and disembark at Ledge Light.

A  new interpretive center inside guides visitors through the story of this solitary outpost that has guided many vessels over the years, from wooden schooners to state-of-the-art submarines. Feel what it was really like to live the life of a lighthouse keeper.
