In-depth oceanographic research takes place over 10-weeks during the fall and spring of the school year. We will embark on a field study excursion and study off-shore marine habitats.

Students must be in grades 7 - 12. After school studies run from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. one afternoon per week.

There is no charge for this program for students from school systems that are full members of Project Oceanology and who are selected to attend by their teacher.

Tuition cost for those students who are not enrolled in a member district and not selected by their teacher: $350

Due to grant funding reductions made by the State of Connecticut, no transportation will be offered for the 2011-2012 school year. Please consider carpooling with students from your area.
